Raiders of the Lost Ark concert

Like A, I also got too immersed in watching the movie that I forgot the music was live! John Williams' Raiders tune is very prevalent and the SF Symphony played so well and sounded exactly as in the movie (timing was perfect) that one simply forgot the instruments were live. So after the initial excitement of the novelty, very rapidly we simply watched the movie and forgot the orchestra. We paid to listen to live music but instead we paid a lot of money to watch Raiders again, only this time on a smaller screen. it was, nevertheless, an enjoyable evening at the symphony. Oh, and we laughed so hard at Max's (dinner)!
